The NOTTINGHAM East Midlands MODEL RAILWAY EXHIBITION is one of the premier model railway events in the UK and, with over 19,000 square feet, it´s one of the largest too ! The event will feature outstanding examples of one of today’s most popular, creative hobbies. The show is a must for the whole family, and not just for the thousands of keen model railway enthusiasts who travel to Nottingham, from far and wide, each year; nor even just for boys large and small (and their dads too, of course). There is plenty to interest every one - including mums and daughters too ! The models will depict scenes from the late nineteenth century, right up to the present day; from the glorious days of steam, to the modern diesels and electrics of today; from sleepy branch lines to expresses roaring through mainline stations; from commuter trains to the mighty freight trains of North America.
